Here you will find a list of events and activities that the foundation will be involved with in Greenville, Maine and the surrounding communities. Some of the events will be organized to raise money for the foundation and we encourage all to attend. Additionally there are community activities that we will be attending to continue to bring awareness to our mission.

The Giving Ladder
We are beginning our corporate and local business fundraising through the “Giving Ladder” campaign. Please follow our progress on this page!
The “Giving Ladder” campaign has raised $79,103 as of 1/20/2025. Greenville received $1,000,000 NBRC Catalyst Grant
for the YES Project
Greenville, in partnership with MCFKF, has been awarded a NRBC Catalyst grant for $1,000,000 to be used for the YES Project. This grant will be added to the Community Project Funding grant previously awarded to MCFKF for $1,561,000; a state grant for $250,000 for childcare infrastructure awarded to Little Schoolhouse Childcare; and over $250,000 raised by MCFKF from our very generous community donors, both individuals and businesses, as well as from fundraising events. Combined these grants and donations total $3,061,000.

Fundraising Events for 2025
“Best Ball” Golf Scramble
and
Silent Auction
July 5th, 2025
7:30 am – 1:00 pm
Join us at the picturesque Mountain Village Golf Course along the shore of Moosehead Lake for a 9 hole “Best Ball” Golf Scramble. Nine teams of 4 golfers will compete for “Longest Drive”, “Nearest to the Pin”, “Best Team Score”, “Worst Team Score”, and other games. Prizes will be awarded. Entry fee is $75 per golfer which includes 9 holes of golf, cart fees (if available), a catered lunch with 2 alcoholic beverage tickets, and participation in a silent auction to follow. Check-in will be at 7:30 with a start time of 8:30am.
Watch your favorite golfer and enjoy a catered lunch with 2 alcoholic beverage tickets and participate in the silent auction. Water, tea, and coffee will also be available. Guest Tickets are $50 per guest.
Auction items donated by our generous community sponsors will be available for bidding the morning of the event and bids will be accepted until 1:00pm. We will accept cash, check, credit card or Venmo. Proceeds will be used to support childcare programs in our community. Last year this event raised over $18,000!
